Hermanos Maclean

 

Alejandro and Eduardo Maclean are a screenwriter-director duo born in Madrid. Both began forging their paths in the artistic world at an early age. Alejandro trained as a theater actor in London, while Eduardo found his voice in the world of dubbing during his adolescence. Two distinct paths that nevertheless shared a common root: the need to tell stories. This creative affinity and their shared passion for genre films led them behind the camera, where they discovered common ground to explore cinematic language through writing and directing. They developed a creative vision that combines technique and narrative with a personal approach. In recent years, they have crafted numerous short films, always guided by their own unique perspective and a complicity reflected in each project. La Compañera (2024) marks their professional debut, presenting their vision to national and international audiences. With it, they reaffirm their commitment to a cinema where genre is not just an aesthetic, but a deeply emotional language.

 

They have just finished their first feature film script, which is currently in development.
